Michael Farry was the Irish co-ordinator of the Viking Network based in Norway which was established by Wigo Skramm with the assistance of the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Education, Research and Church Affairs.
He also set up the Viking Network Ireland website which contains resources for schools and students on the history of the vikings in Ireland. It has ideas for school projects and some examples of schools' projects on the theme of Vikings. It also contains some information on recently published books on vikings and Viking related events in Ireland.
